Facebook and Skype:
Skype: host sites to not need to have Skype, if you desire to be part of the check in and the reading of 65 names (see below) then you will need to do this and call "Source MN"
Photo in Skype
Note: most people do not have a photo in your Skype Profile:
- in Skype goto "Account" -> "My Profile" and upload a photo of yourself, or you Could upload a picture that has the name of your location
- if you do not have a Skype account, it is very easy to set one up

+ there are currently 65 women on a waiting list that want to be in a program and get out. There is approximately only 50 beds inthe whole USA. As an act of prayer intercession we plan to read off 65 random women names, we hope to have as many of the host sites on a conference call and have them read one after the other as we have a counter go up.

- if you can create a new Facebook account with the name of your group or location ie "NCU Annex", then great include a photo or name of group for your profile pictures
- if you don't have time, and want to just change your profile picture to be something that represents it then great

Host Site Overview
College Campuses, House Gatherings, Boiler Rooms & Church groups will participate in an evening of Awareness, Prayer & Action. More than 20 different sites will be connected through web-streaming, multi-media, creativity & interaction. Evening will end with concert of prayer that allows each site to give prayer expressions via art, blogs, and live web-streams.
11/2, 7pm: Campuses, House Gatherings, & Boiler Rooms

Hello Host Site Leaders:
Thank you so much for participating in the "Our Own Backyard" awareness & prayer rally. We have been praying for this for some time. We have over 20 sites lined up from Boston, Portland, and Hawaii that include college campuses, churches, & home groups. Over 500 will be in attendance and there will be a significant number of individuals observing from the web-stream not at host sites as well.
We currently in the middle of Awareness48: 48 days to bring awareness & prayer to Local Sex Trafficking and prostitution and benefit the Annex Transitional Home. We started this 9/30 & are going until 11/16. Our initiatives include SourceAnnex.org (interviews, videos & stats), an iPad video contest, benefits, & awareness outreaches.
This whole project was initiated by the lack of opportunities for individuals to get out of the sex trade. There are less than 50 beds in recovery programs that have housing in the whole USA. The local organization Breaking Free has just a few beds and a waiting list of over 65.
The heart of this evening will be around awareness, prayer, and action. We see one of the realities of having so little recovery housing in the USA reflects a lack of compassion for the victims of the sex trade in our culture and by the church. We will be giving an overview of the Annex and asking for prayer for the current campaign to raise the down payment (which we are at 50% I'm' happy to report). Our heart is that this doesn't dominate the evening and it doesn't feel like a fundraising campaign, but I wanted to mention this and be clear ahead of time so you would know what to expect.
Cost: Each site is encouraged to have a suggested donation of at least $2/person that will go to the Annex Sex Trafficking Transitional Home. We will leave it up to each host site if they desire to ask for more for the benefit either at the door or during the event. We will be mentioning the "2 Bucks & 2 Friends" campaign that hopes to spread awareness to over 10,000 people and kick-start the Annex Transitional Home. Details on SourceAnnex.org.
The night will be broken into two times. The first focused on awareness that will include interviews, videos, and direction/encouragement on interactive art. The second will be the concert of prayer that will have prayers/songs from our Broadcast sites (these are not necessarily our host sites, these are sites where we will have those that are survivors, outreach workers, and selected artist share from across North America).
Also note the potential ways to Get Involved both in the Annex Awareness Campaign, iPad video contest, and beyond this year.

Tech Needs:
Don’t be intimidated as doing a multi-site web-streaming sounds like it entails lots of high-tech procedures and help. Basically if you can view our videos on-line then you are there. This event is designed to be very simple and giving host sites the options off adding more layers if they desire.

+ curing the first hour of awareness, we will be encouraging the host sites to be creating prayer expressions on collages and prayer walls that reflect the information and prayer responses. The hope is to take digital photos of these and place them on the face book site during the 2nd hour concert of prayer.
+ This can be as small or large as you have vision and time for: they could be supplies on a coffee table with a large piece of construction paper that every one accesses, or a large canvas along a wall that several individuals could paint or glue magazine clippings at the same time.
+ Prayer Collages: magazines, construction paper, markers, tape, glue sticks/glue
+ Prayer wall: large canvas, plywood, or masonite
+ print out specific scriptures that are provided that talk about compassion and providing for the poor
+ Access Computer Laptops
+ small groups: this can be the same that the web-stream is being viewed on
+ large groups: encouraged to have several around the room that will be available for 1) to spread word via facebook/email and 2) partipate in prayer logs

Want to be a Host Site?
All you need is a computer & the internet to participate and/or be a host site. Minimal prep is needed as host sites can be a few people in a living room or a campus benefit with 200. You just need to get people there
